Selling tickets and taking Mobile Money

How an organizer sets up paid tickets or free registration, and gets paid straight into their own account.

2 min read

Every event on Vineyard360 has one way in, and you choose what it costs.

Free registration or paid tickets

  • Free: leave every ticket type at zero, or set none up at all. Visitors register with their name and phone number and receive a free ticket with a QR code.
  • Paid: add ticket types — General, VIP, a table for ten — each with its own price, number of places and sale dates. A free tier can sit beside the paid ones.

Places are held the moment somebody starts to pay, so two people never buy the last seat.

Getting paid

Connect your own payment account under Settings → Payment channels. Buyers pay by Mobile Money or card, and the money settles to you — not to us. Every order carries a reference you can match against your statement.

On the day

Open The Door on any phone or tablet, scan the codes or type them in, and the page tells you in large letters whether to let each person in. A code used once is refused the second time, with the time it was first scanned.

After the event

Refunds, a list of everybody who came, badges, and a reminder two days before are all on the event's Ticket holders and Orders screens.
