Terms of use

These terms govern your use of Vineyard360 — as somebody attending an event, as an organizer, or as a volunteer or vendor in the directories. By using the site you agree to them. This is a working draft and should be reviewed by legal counsel before it is relied on.

The service

Vineyard360 lets organizers publish events, sell tickets and merchandise, register attendees and run their events, and lets everybody else find and take part in them. We provide the platform; each event is run by its organizer, who is responsible for it.

Accounts

You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.

Buying tickets and giving

  • A ticket is a promise by the organizer to admit you to their event on the terms they set. Prices, refunds and changes to an event are the organizer's decision.
  • Payments go to the organizer's own merchant account through their payment provider. Refunds are made by the organizer's finance team; you can ask for one from your account where the organizer allows it.
  • A ticket code admits once (once a day at a multi-day event). Keep it private; whoever presents it first is admitted.

Organizers

If you publish an event you confirm that it is real, that you have the right to run it, and that what you say about it is true. You are responsible for your event, for honouring the tickets you sell, for refunds, for the people you add to your team, and for handling attendees' personal information lawfully. Paid plans are billed as shown on the organisers page and renew until cancelled.

Volunteers and vendors

A directory listing must describe you or your business truthfully. Organizers who contact you through the site are responsible for what they propose; any arrangement you make is between you and them.

What you must not do

Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, misleading or that you have no right to post; do not impersonate anybody; do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service; and do not collect other people's details from it.

Content you post

You keep ownership of what you post. You allow us to show it where you asked it to be shown — an event's wall, a review, a listing — and to remove it if it breaks these terms.

Liability

We work hard to keep the service running, but we provide it "as is". We are not responsible for an organizer's event, for what happens at it, or for losses that are not caused by our own failure. Nothing in these terms limits a right the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes and law

We may change these terms and will show the date of the latest change at the top. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
